In the studio, our Art O’Level sessions are held as supplementary classes, providing students with additional opportunities to enhance their artistic skills alongside their chosen art curriculum at school. Throughout these sessions, confidence is gained by students in using various art media, such as pencils, watercolours, and acrylics, enabling the development of a versatile portfolio for their O’ Level art studies and beyond. The aim of these classes is to foster a love for art, encourage creative expressions, and create a supportive environment for students to explore their artistic potential.

  • WHAT’S INCLUDED: Hands on teaching, Individual Attention, Air-conditioned Classroom & Certificate of Attendance
  • REQUIREMENTS: A Box Set of Pencils or the essentials (2B,4B,6B) Rubber & Ruler, Acrylic Paints or Poster paints, Charcoal sticks or Charcoal Pencils,Soft Pastels or Oil Pastels (either or both), Different Sized Brushes, A3 Drawing Book, and a packet of wipes. All items should be labeled.

To secure your booking for our classes, please ensure to submit the application form along with the deposit for the first two lessons.We recommend submitting the application form as soon as possible as spaces are limited and fill up quickly. Once we receive your application and deposit, we will confirm your booking via email. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to having you join us!

Commitment

Please note that payment is only required for lessons that the student attends, but we still expect a level of commitment from the student. Please notify us as soon as possible in the event that your child is absent. If a student misses more than two lessons without proper notification or a valid reason, we reserve the right to offer their spot to another student.

Summer Classes 2023

Our Summer Art Classes this year will be truly unique! Students will have the opportunity to explore the world of art appreciation and discover famous artists from a variety of backgrounds and mediums. Each week, they will be introduced to a new artist, analyzing their style and learning about their life story. Students will then create their own original works of art inspired by the Great Masters.

Through these classes, students will develop new skills and techniques that will indirectly help them prepare for their O’level exam. All of this will take place in a fun and positive environment that encourages creativity and fosters a love of art.

Our eight-week program is specifically designed for students aged 11 years and above, or for those who plan to sit for their Ordinary Level Exam in the near future. All classes are carried out at Trudy Gera’s Art Studio in Tarxien in a safe and friendly environment.

  • WHAT’S INCLUDED: Hands on teaching, Individual Attention, Air-conditioned Classroom,   & Certificate of Attendance
  • REQUIREMENTS: A3 Drawing Book, Set of Pencils or 2B,4B & 6B, Rubber & Ruler, Poster Paints (Red, Blue, Yellow, Brown, White, Black), Paint Brushes: 3 Flat Brushes or more (different sizes), apron or large t-shirt , packet of wipes and a cloth to wipe brushes. The rest will be provided by the studio. All items should be clearly/individually labeled.

Application & Payment

Each student who wishes to enroll in the summer art classes must fill out an application form. Please note that submitting the application form alone does not guarantee a booking. Bookings will only be confirmed once full payment is received. Therefore, we kindly ask that you wait for a reply from us confirming availability before sending any payment.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Booking is only confirmed once the application is filled and full payments is done. 
  2. If for any reason, the lesson cannot be held/cancelled (from my end) this will be rescheduled or a refund is given which covers the missed lesson. 
  3. A 24hr advance notice via email (from start of lesson) has to be provided for any student absentee (without any notification lesson will be automatically missed). The missed lesson can be passed on to someone else, however credit refunds will not be given. If one wishes to pass the lesson to someone else I will need to be informed at least 24hrs before with the details of the replacement student.
