Get To Know Our Classes

At our art studio, creativity is at the heart of everything we do. We provide a fun and welcoming space where children are free to explore and develop their ideas. Each child is gently guided and supported throughout their creative journey, encouraging them to express their thoughts and imagination visually. We celebrate every child’s individuality and nurture creativity as a way of understanding the world. Through art, children build confidence, develop their imagination, and strengthen valuable problem-solving skills that extend far beyond the studio.

Our sessions are designed to be both enjoyable and educational. Students learn about different art periods. They discover the work of great Masters. They also develop their understanding of the elements of art. We also incorporate aspects of history and geography to create a richer and more meaningful learning experience. While painting is our main medium, students will also explore other materials. These materials include oil pastels, soft pastels, and watercolour, among others.

The 2026/2027 scholastic year runs from October to June. It is divided into three terms. These terms are October to December, January to March, and April to June. Each term includes 8 teaching weeks. It also has 1 Flex Week. The Flex Week can be used in cases of illness, studio closures, or public holidays. Classes are held in small groups. This ensures a safe and supportive environment. It allows for individual guidance and focused artistic development. The studio is fully equipped with air conditioning and toilet facilities to ensure comfort during lessons.

Fees are payable per term, with a discounted rate available for families who choose to book all three terms together. For added convenience, parents may choose the Studio Materials Option. In this option, the studio provides all required art materials for the term.

3. Materials

For parents choosing the Standard Term Fee, art materials must be provided by the parents. Please ensure that your child’s materials are kept up to date and that any finished or missing items are replaced when necessary.

If a student does not have the required materials and the tutor provides them during the class, the studio reserves the right to charge parents for the materials used.

4. Illness

Children who are unwell must not attend class.

Parents should inform the studio immediately if their child can’t attend due to illness. The tutor reserves the right to ask for a medical certificate when necessary.

No refunds are given for missed lessons due to illnesses. (Refer to Flex Week Policy)

5. Flex Week Policy

The studio offers a Flex Week, which takes place in Week 9 of each term.

Flex Week is designed to support families in cases of unforeseen absences due to illness during the 8 teaching weeks. In such cases, students may attend a session during Flex Week, depending on availability.

Flex Week is also used to reschedule lessons if:

  • The studio is unable to hold a scheduled session (e.g., extreme weather conditions or directives from Health Authorities).
  • A public holiday falls within the 8 teaching weeks.

Once the Flex Weekday and time are issued, booking is required. Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that the scheduled day and time may differ from your child’s usual class.

6. Planned Absences

The studio must be informed of any planned absences as early as possible.

Flex Week does not cover planned absences.

Replacement sessions are not available for planned absences, including but not limited to:

  • Holidays or travel
  • Appointments
  • Parties
  • School events
  • Other personal commitments
  • No turn ups to Lessons and Late Cancellations
