Trudy Gera’s Art Studio is offering a tote bag painting workshop where children between the ages of 6-12 can unleash their creativity and design their own unique tote bags inspired by Henri Matisse’s cut-outs. 1. When and where will it be held?
The tote bag painting workshop will take place on three different dates, and the session will be identical on each occasion. Therefore, participants are kindly requested to choose only one date that suits them best. The workshop will be held at my Art Studio in Tarxien.

2. Who can participate?
We welcome any creative child who is eager to paint and learn to join us for this Summer Special workshop. While there is no strict age limit, the workshop is most appropriate for children between the ages of 6-12 years.
3. What will the workshop consists of?
The 2-hour workshop will focus on painting on a canvas tote bag inspired by the works of Henri Matisse. Participants will not only learn about the famous artist but also get the opportunity to paint on a unique canvas bag that they get to keep. The workshop will take place in a relaxed environment with background music, and full hands-on attention will be provided. The studio is air-conditioned to ensure comfort.
4. Will the paint stay on my Tote bag?
Yes, the paint will stay on the tote bag. We use acrylic paint, which is waterproof and permanent once it dries. Therefore, our participants need not worry about the paint wearing off with water or time.
5. Which resources are needed?
To participate in the workshop, the participants only need to bring their creativity and enthusiasm. All the necessary materials such as paintbrushes, paint, and tote bag will be provided at the workshop. Participants will only need to bring a few personal belongings with them.
- A Packet of wipes to clean their hands
- An Art Apron or large T-Shirt
- (Optional) Snack & Water
6. Can my child participate in this workshop if they are already enrolled in your classes during the year?
If your child is already attending our classes at the studio, they are welcome to participate in the tote bag painting workshop. Please note that the workshop sessions will be different from the regular classes held during the year.
7. What if my child cannot attend on the day?
In the event of a participant’s absence from the workshop, please note that refunds will not be issued, except for emergency health issues. Such cases will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and a refund of half the amount paid will be given. Alternatively, participants may choose to pass their spot to someone else, provided that they inform us in advance.
8. How much will it cost?
The 2 hours session costs Euro 25 which will include all materials, including the tote bag.
9. How can I apply & pay?
